Tully Hill Joins Global #GivingTuesday Movement

Pledges to Tully Hill Foundation to Support Tully Hill’s Multiple, Ongoing Initiatives

TULLY, NY – NOVEMBER 30, 2021 – Tully Hill Chemical Dependency Treatment Center has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.

Occurring this year on November 30, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) after the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. #GivingTuesday helps kick off the holiday giving season and inspires people to collaborate in improving their communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.

“We are excited about linking individuals and organizations to our mission with the help of the #GivingTuesday campaign,” said Tully Hill Executive Director Cathy Palm. “Reimbursement to treat chemical dependencies and substance abuse continues to decline. Donations to Tully Hill will help us afford the many ongoing initiatives that are essential to our superior care: the upgrading of patient and other room furnishings and our overall treatment environment; the development and introduction of new treatment regimens; the maintenance of our facility and grounds; and the improvement of our Information Technology capacity.

“We are forever grateful to each and every #Giving Tuesday donor who supports us and these needs, in our efforts to rehabilitate and return to our communities sober, healthy, productive individuals and to restore as much as possible their relationships with their families and loved ones,” she said.

In 2020, the eighth year of Giving Tuesday, millions of people in 98 countries came together and raised over $2.5 billion to benefit nonprofit organizations and the causes they support and believe in.

Paul Marron

Director of Business Development

Paul Marron, Director of Business Development, joined Tully Hill Chemical Dependency Treatment Center in July 2012. Mr. Marron graduated Magna Cum Laude from both Saint Bonaventure University with a BA, History/Pre-Law and Boston University with his MS, Public Relations. He worked most recently at Central New York Eye & Tissue Bank where he served as their Director of Business Development. He has extensive experience in healthcare administration, contracting, marketing and development in Central New York.
