Tully Hill Employees Earn IMHATT Certification
Tully Hill is pleased to announce that employees have earned their Integrated Mental Health / Addictions Treatment Training Certification (IMHATT) through the Center for Practice Innovations’ (CPI). NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) established the Focus on Integrated Treatment (FIT) initiative through the CPI Learning Community. The FIT Initiative is designed to help practitioners and programs implement integrated treatment for people with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders is a proven strategy for helping people sustain and maintain recovery. To recognize the efforts of individuals and programs OASAS and OMH jointly developed the IMHATT certificate to recognize practitioners who have completed all of the FIT practitioner modules. Tully Hill joined the FIT Initiative to help staff members gain a firm foundation in evidence-based integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders including screening and assessment, stage-wise treatment, motivational interviewing and more.
