CURRENT MEDICATIONS

A 30-day supply of ALL over-the-counter and prescription medications in original containers, DO NOT BRING ANY prescribed (or otherwise) CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES – continued use of a prescribed, controlled substance after admission will be determined by the medical director.

REMEMBER

  • Insurance card, prescription drug card, patient Soc. Sec. number, current Driver’s License or other Photo ID
  • $50 in cash – personal checks not accepted
  • Disability benefit/FMLA claim forms if you are eligible

DO NOT BRING

  • Outside food or beverages
  • Tobacco products, lighters or matches
  • Leisure reading material and personal electronics
  • Alcohol or illegal or unauthorized drugs 
  • Controlled Substances 
  • Drug related paraphernalia 
  • Marijuana 

Because of the nature of services that Tully Hill provides, the program must implement measures to maintain a therapeutic and safe environment that is conducive to treatment and recovery. Belongings brought to Tully Hill will be screened to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients. Dignity and respect characterize treatment at Tully Hill. We expect your clothing and personal hygiene will communicate those values to the treatment community. Appropriateness of all dress and accessories is subject to the discretion of staff. Please only bring 5-7 days of casual, comfortable appropriate clothing.
* Washers, dryers, laundry detergent, and ironing boards are available to patients.

Patients are limited to bringing 1 piece of luggage and 1 bag only.
Belongings brought in excess of 7 days supply will be sent home at admission with whoever accompanies the patient.
No Additional belongings may be brought in for the patient after Admission. This includes items dropped off onsite or deliveries sent via Amazon / any other courier.

Patients also need to bring:

CURRENT MEDICATIONS – A 30-day supply of ALL over-the-counter (OTC) and
prescription medications in original containers. DO NOT BRING any prescribed (or
otherwise) CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES – continued use of a prescribed, controlled
substance after admission will be determined by Tully Hill’s medical director after
consultation with the prescribing practitioner re: continued use given patient’s
concurrent treatment.
*If you do not bring a 30 day supply of your current OTC and prescription
medications you will need to make arrangements to have your medications
brought / sent to Tully Hill for your use during treatment.
CLOTHING – Patients are limited to no more than 5-7 days of casual comfortable
clothing appropriate to the time of year. Dress shirt w/ tie, jacket, slacks, skirts, dresses,
blouse/sweater for Saturday dinner and Hope on the Hill meeting.
PERSONAL TOILETRIES – Personal toiletries must be new and unopened, in original
containers (fragrance-free products are encouraged*)
DEODORANT– solid or stick ONLY (no roll on, gel or spray deodorant)
• SHOWER SHOES – Shower shoes or flip flops (for use in the shower)
IDENTIFICATION / INSURANCE INFORMATION – Insurance card, prescription drug card,
patient’s Social Security number, current Driver’s License or other Photo ID
CONTACT INFORMATION – Names, phone numbers, addresses of all persons we will
need to communicate with including primary care doctor, all other medical
providers, pharmacy, attorneys, EAPs, employers, referring agent, family, etc
LETTER WRITING SUPPLIES – stationery, envelopes, stamps, addresses, phone
numbers for family/friends
INCIDENTAL ACCOUNT CASH – $50 in cash – personal checks not accepted (cash
kept in an account for you to buy items – $50 is the maximum we hold for patients,
patients encouraged to also bring credit card if possible, should they desire to spend
more than $50)
DISABILITY / FMLA FORMS – disability benefit / FMLA claim forms, if you are eligible
AA BIG BOOK – bring your AA Big Book if you already have one

Do Not Bring:

CLOTHING
• Sexually explicit, spandex, or tight-fitting clothing
• Clothing that’s torn, tattered, has holes
• Clothing suggestive of drugs, alcohol, concerts/music
• “Hoodies” – hooded attire
• Hats are ONLY allowed for use outside
• Shorts
• Skorts or skirts shorter than mid-thigh
• Halter tops, sleeveless shirts/tops
• Sandals
PERSONAL TOILETRIES
• Alcohol-containing products (e.g., mouthwash, perfume, cologne, hand sanitizer, deodorant, etc) excluding cetyl, stearyl, cetearyl or lanolin alcohol. Methanol (Methyl); Isopropyl (Isyl); Ethanol (Ethyl) or Bynzyl alcohol are prohibited
• Sharp objects (e.g., scissors, pocket knives, needles, bottles, metal nail files)
• Hair clippers
• Aerosol cans (shaving cream allowed)
TOBACCO PRODUCTS
• Tobacco products, nicotine delivery systems, matches and lighters Tully Hill is a tobacco-free facility and possession/use of tobacco and tobacco-related products is prohibited
BEDDING
• Pillows (unless required medically, must bring MD verification of same)
• Blankets or Bedding of any kind
• Stuffed animals
• Towels
PERSONAL ELECTRONICS / LEISURE READING MATERIAL
• Leisure reading material & Personal electronics (NO magazines, books, Kindles, radios, DVD players, computers, SMART Watch, IPOD/IPAD, Laptop, anything that has WIFI or Bluetooth capability)
• Alarm Clocks
• Pornographic materials
ADDICTION RELATED PARAPHERNALIA
• Illegal or unauthorized drugs or other chemical substances
• Controlled Substances
• Drug-related paraphernalia
• Alcoholic beverages or intoxicating drinks
• Marijuana
FOOD/CANDY
• Food, Gum or Candy
PETS
• Pets are not allowed at Tully Hill

*Fragrance-free products are encouraged as scented personal products may be an issue for individuals who have a fragrance sensitivity.
