Tully Hill Treatment and Recovery is dedicated to the belief that substance use disorder is a disease – chronic, progressive and above all, treatable. Established in 1990 Tully Hill is a 50-bed Inpatient detox, rehabilitation and Outpatient facility dedicated to providing treatment for substance use disorders.
Staff RN – Responsible for coordination and administration of patient care in accordance with CARF standards, NYS OASAS regulations and other State and Federal regulations. Job duties include performing nursing assessments, providing patient education in individual and group settings, assisting the multidisciplinary team in developing / modifying patient treatment plans, meeting with Admission RNs to receive report on new patients, conducting patient and luggage searches, providing medication education, etc. Full Time, Part Time or Per Diem. Day, Evening, Overnight shifts. Some weekend availability required.
Admission RN – Responsible for conducting the medical assessment in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team to determine whether individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders meet admission criteria. Uses information gathered during comprehensive evaluation to determine appropriate level of care based on ASAM criteria. Assesses patients’ needs and contacts the Medical Director to obtain admission orders. Ensures comprehensive documentation to support insurance approval at our recommended level of care. Part Time. 15-20 hours/week. Some weekend availability may be required.
Team-oriented individuals with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong written and verbal communication skills and computer skills required. Valid NYS RN license and CPR certification required upon hire. Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorders and 12-step philosophy preferred but not required. CARN certification a plus. Previous work experience in an electronic medical record environment preferred.
