Tully Hill is accepting applications for experienced individuals to join our team as Substance Use Disorder Counselor – Overnight Shift. Responsible for providing supervision and care in accordance with Tully Hill policies to patients seeking inpatient treatment for substance use disorders. Job duties include providing patients with individual support during overnight hours, overseeing morning wake-up, facilitating meditation and other patient activities, conducting safety and security rounds of the facility and grounds in accordance with established schedule, ensuring patient participation in scheduled activities, providing basic crisis response, etc. Part Time. Must be available10pm – 8am. 3 shifts/week (30 hours).
Qualified candidates will have the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Strong written and verbal communication skills and EMR skills required. Must ensure quality, timeliness and accuracy of documentation to ensure compliance with CARF standards, NYS regulations, other applicable State and Federal regulations, referral sources and insurance contract requirements. Associate’s degree in human services preferred. CASAC-Trainee certification a plus. Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorders and 12-Step philosophy preferred. CPR certification required upon hire.
